Blogging Instructions

The foods labs (prepared both at school and at home) during the previous week are always due on the following Monday. 


Late blogs will be marked according to the policy found in “Assignments” found on the Course Outline.

  • Something you have learned in class that is important to the recipe - 1 point
  • Detail to your reflection - 1 point
  • Spelling and grammar - 1 point will be deducted from the total mark for spelling errors and grammar mistakes.

  • 1.         Copy and paste a photo of your recipe unto your blog – 1 point

    2.         Find the recipe on my blog and copy and paste it onto your blog – 1 point

    3.         Reference your recipe.  If I am giving you the recipe, the source will be cited below the recipe – 1 point

    4.         Write a reflection (one paragraph) about your cooking experience. Answer the following in your reflection.

    • what went well - 1 point
    • what did not go so well - 1 point
    • what you would do differently if you were to make this recipe again - 1 point
    • Something you have learned in class that is important to the recipe - 1 point
    • Detail to your reflection - 1 point
    • Spelling and grammar - 1 point will be deducted from the total mark for spelling errors and grammar mistakes

    TOTAL - 8 POINTS for each blog
